Session: | PANEL 9 Federal and Port Business Opportunities |
Day: | Wednesday, September 27 |
Time: | 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM |
Room: | D7-D8 |
PANEL DESCRIPTION |
|
Federal and state agencies are currently creating new ways to seek out technology companies. Federal agencies are in search of technologies to help make their missions more efficient, less labor-intensive, less cost-intensive, or even safer. These agencies are keenly aware of technological developments both inside and outside the typical federal contracting environment. Organizations are creating all types of mechanisms by which companies can identify business opportunities both under existing federal contracting vehicles, as well as new outreach programs with less rigid requirements.
